Denise Runza was born and raised in Iowa, but relocated to the Isle of Palms in 1993 to be near the ocean, and has lived here ever since - 28 great years. 

She enjoys the Island’s intercoastal waterway, beach, parks &  trails. She also has a deep understanding of our neighborhoods and schools, which make her an asset when finding the right home in the right spot.

Denise started her career in the Financial Industry. For over 14 years she grew in knowledge and strived to acquire all the needed licenses to become a top asset in her field. 

Denise has volunteered her time as Chair of the Children’s committee at First United Methodist, IOP, as well as VBS Director there for many years. She has a big heart for children and families alike. She also loves to give back to the community by helping Halos of Charleston and currently serves on the Board of East Cooper Montessori Charter School of Mt Pleasant. 

She has been married for 25 years and has two teenage children. In her free time she enjoys reading, fitness, biking, and snow skiing with her family.
